Overview
This 4-year Diploma is open to individuals who DO NOT possess a qualification in counselling or psychotherapy but do possess a degree level qualification or equivalent experience. On successful completion of all assignments, clinical log and clinical hours, trainees will be eligible to register on the Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist Registers with COSRT.
The training will be delivered in two distinct parts. Part one is delivered over one weekend per month over 20 months, that is one weekend per month for 10 months per year for the first 2 years.
On successful completion of the first 2 years trainees will graduate onto the second part of the training which is the 2yr Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapies.

The full training cost for the first two years is £3,500 per year A non-refundable deposit of £500 is payable on acceptance of a place. The balance is then paid over 24 months at £250.00 per month.
The second two years will be in alignment with the cost of theDipoma in Psychosexual and Relational Therapies. Currently the total cost of the 2 yr Diploma is £7800. This can be paid in instalments. A non refundable deposit is paid on acceptance with 24 further monthly payments of £300.
This pathway is for applicants who are not yet qualified as a counsellor or psychotherapist.
The first two years of training covers general therapy skills theory and practice with a psychosexual lens, however the primary focus will be developing psychotherapeutic skills.
The second two years will focus significantly on psychosexual theory and practice.
Once successfully completed trainees will be eligible to register with COSRT as Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist. Moving forward, on completion of the required clinical hours Therapists will be eligible to seek accreditation with COSRT.
