4-year Integrated Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapies

Overview

This 4-year Diploma is open to individuals who DO NOT possess a qualification in counselling or psychotherapy but do possess a degree level qualification or equivalent experience. On successful completion of all assignments, clinical log and clinical hours, trainees will be eligible to register on the Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist registers with COSRT.

The training will be delivered over one weekend per month over 40 months, that is one weekend per month for 10 months per year for 4 years.

The full training cost is £3,500 per year A non-refundable deposit of £500 is payable on acceptance of a place. The balance is then paid over 12 months per year at £250.00 per month.

This pathway is for applicants who are not yet qualified as a counsellor or psychotherapist.

The first two years of training covers general therapy skills theory and practice with a psychosexual lens, however the primary focus will be developing psychotherapeutic skills.

The second two years will focus significantly on relationship and psychosexual theory and practice.

Once successfully completed trainees will be eligible to register with COSRT as Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist. Moving forward, on completion of the required clinical hours Therapists will be eligible to seek accreditation with COSRT.
